Our Beliefs

WHAT THE REFORMED CHURCH IN AMERICA BELIEVES ...

All of the books which have been written explaining our theology
can be summed up very simply by using "3 G's and 3 S's"

We are GUILTY of SIN against God

By GRACE we have been SAVED by God, therefore ...

In GRATITUDE we SERVE God.

The word Grace is used here to mean, "The love and favor of God toward mankind."

The order of the statements is very significant, and marks a distinction between the Reformed Church and some others:  We believe that we do not serve in order to be saved from our sins, but rather in gratitude for having been saved through God's generous gift of Jesus Christ and our acceptance of that gift.
